Rick Wilcox

Biography:
Rick works to strengthen the school’s rela­tionships with key constituency groups to increase engagement, volunteerism, and philanthropic support. During his tenure at Episcopal, Rick has served as a soccer coach, dorm parent, and advisor.

Since becoming the head coach of boys’ soccer in 2000, Rick has coached numerous players, who have gone on to have successful careers in college soccer, including two players who were recognized as The Washington Post’s All-Met Player of the Year. Rick has coached Episcopal to four league champi­onships and state titles in 2008, 2009, and 2011.

Rick is a graduate of Westminster School in Connecticut and holds a B.A. in English from Randolph-Macon College, where he was a resident assistant, captain of the varsity soccer team, and all-conference selection. Rick enjoys playing in local adult soccer leagues, golf, and disc golf. 

He and his wife Emily Straight, have a daughter, Lilly '18 and son, Eli '21.
