Biography:
Mike first arrived at Episcopal in 2001 as a social studies teacher. During a five-year span, he taught classes in American and world history, advanced-level government, and film studies. In 2007, he left Episcopal for the Thacher School in Ojai, Calif., where he was a department head, taught a wide variety of social studies courses, led backpacking trips, and coached basketball, cross-country, and baseball. In 2014, Mike took a position at the American School in London, where he taught various AP courses, led international trips, and coached baseball and basketball.

Since Mike's return to Alexandria in 2019, he has taught microeconomics and macroeconomics, helped with the basketball and softball programs, performed dorm duty, and served in a part-time capacity in the college counseling office.
