Biography:
Molly is beginning her 27th year of full-time classroom teaching. For 17 years, Molly, her partner, and their two children (the oldest a member of the Class of 2028) have called EHS home. At Episcopal, she serves as the chair of the English department and teaches 9th grade English and three electives: American Protest Literature, Victorian Literature, and Writing Short Stories about Climate Change. She works with the Office of Community & Equity and is also a member of a dorm team and an advisor to an energetic group of students.

As the recipient of the 2024-25 Olsson Family Sabbatical, Molly and her family enjoyed a remarkable year in Granada, Spain. She worked on a novel (in English), strengthened her Spanish through classes and volunteering, and relished the chance to explore a new place with her family. More than a year later, she continues to draw energy and inspiration from this opportunity, especially when it comes to trying new things without worrying about perfection.
