Biography:
Phil has served as an administrator in Episcopal schools for the past 26 years: as the Head of School at Canterbury School in Greensboro, N.C.; as a senior administrator at St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Va.; and as a boarding faculty team member at St. Catherine's School in Richmond with his wife, Lauren.

Prior to those roles, he lived and worked in Baltimore at Gilman School and at St. Ignatius Loyola Academy. Phil's administrative duties allow him to support the wide array of EHS students’ co-curricular experiences — health and wellness, afternoon options, athletics, chapel, discipline, dormitories, safety and security, service learning, weekend activities, and annual re-enrollment. Phil and Lauren live on campus and have one son in college and another in the EHS Class of ’27.
