Biography:
Tara serves as director of college counseling at Episcopal, where she leads a comprehensive and deeply personal college counseling program.

With an advanced degree in counseling and professional experience guiding adolescents through academic and personal development and more than 20 years of experience in both independent schools and higher education admissions, Tara approaches college counseling as an extension of Episcopal's mission to educate the whole student.

Prior to Episcopal, Tara served for more than a decade as director of college counseling at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, where she guided students through every stage of the admissions process while teaching college preparatory courses and mentoring families. Earlier in her career, she worked in university admissions as associate director of MBA admissions at NYU's Stern School of Business and as assistant director of admissions at Georgetown University.

She is an active member of national and regional professional orgranizations and has visited more than 100 colleges and univerisities worldwide.
