Novice Crew Finishes Season
The novice eight concluded their season at the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Championship on the Occoquan Reservoir.
Racing against 16 schools from throughout Virginia, the Episcopal eight had their focus tested even before launching when a rower fell ill. The crew was forced to adjust to a last-minute lineup change. Once on the water, the eight managed to overcome a few off strokes in the first half of the race and conclude the season with their fastest time to date. The crew finished 5th in their heat and did not advance to the finals.
