Vienna: Spring Break 2020

Students will explore the 2,500 years of history, art, and culture which make Rome one of the greatest cities on earth. Since 1995, Episcopal High School has partnered with Theresianum Academy in Vienna, Austria, on a student international exchange program.

The program fosters personal relationships between the students of EHS and the Theresianum, immerses EHS students in the German language in its natural context in German-speaking Europe; and provides EHS students with an understanding of the greater historical importance of Austria within the context of Europe and European history.

During spring break, a group of EHS students will travel to Vienna with German Teacher Rick Dixon, and stay with host families or in the dormitory, depending on the situation of the students’ Austrian exchange partner.

EHS students will attend classes at Theresianum Academy in the mornings and visit the sites of Vienna in the afternoons and evenings. The group will also take an overnight trip to Salzburg, Austria, to explore another historic Austrian city, one of the best-preserved city centers north of the Alps.
