Baseball team catches up for narrow win
The Maroon came from eight runs down to win 13-12 on a walk-off wild pitch that allowed Henry Sergenian ’19 to score the winning run right before the rains opened up in Orlando.
Sergenian scored four runs in the game and was on base four times. Thomas Windels ’19 had two doubles in the win, but the EHS offensive lineup hammered out 13 hits in the win while also drawing five walks. Emmett Morehead ’21 pitched the last inning and picked up his first win of the season, striking out two Mater Dei batters in his inning of work.
