Boys Varsity Squash Succumbs to St. Andrew's

At the boys varsity level, the match represented the first competition for either school, and would provide a good measuring stick for the team's progress after tryouts and a week of practice.
As the first serves and subsequent rallies began, it was clear that the competition would be close—it always is against the Cardinals. The Maroon dropped 3 of their first 4 matches, but continued fighting. Episcopal tallied their first team win: a much-needed shot-in-the-arm from Will Riddle '19. He was down in the match 0-1, but steadily got better with each following game, ultimately closing out with a resounding 11-2 win.

Hansen Ogden '22 efficiently placed the ball out of his opponent's reach, while Cole Wise '19 twisted his counterpart in knots, winning in 3. Captain Thomas Williamson '19 came back to wear down his man, defeating him in 5 games.
