Girls JV Basketball Falls to SSSAS Squad
The team took to the court on Friday against a solid St. Stephens St Agnes squad.
SSSAS took the lead in the first half, but the Maroon were able to make some defensive adjustments and slow down their scoring tempo by the third quarter. Play in the second half showed more relaxed confidence. Lucy Hankins ’22 led the scoring effort in the first half and was particularly effective defending the transition. Maya Taybron ’22 led the scoring in the second half, taking 8 points. Catherine MacKinnon '21 hit a great 3-point shot in the second half to the great delight of the fans.
