Christina Maher Holt

Biography:
Christina was appointed Episcopal’s assistant head for advancement in 2019 after serving six years as director of institutional advancement,  three years in a dual role of major gifts officer and director of communications, and three years as director of communications. She oversees all fundraising, communications, and alumni and special programs. Christina is committed to the ideals and values of independent school education and to securing a strong future for Episcopal. She is a member of the leadership team and administrative group.

Prior to joining EHS, Christina worked in the public information arena as a consultant to government agencies and on Capitol Hill. An advocate of community engagement, she has served in numerous governance capacities, including three terms as president of the board of trustees of an independent day school. She came to the Washington, D.C., area in 1990 after serving in Ecuador as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer.

Christina and her husband Chuck have three daughters, Emma ’12, Sophie ’15, and Greta ’17.
