With Courage We Will...Dramatically increase access to financial aid.

We will build profoundly our endowment with funds that are restricted for financial aid, the best way to create a vibrant and enriching environment on our campus.

Increasing access to financial aid is a crucial investment in the quality of our student body. As Episcopal works to build an academically talented, diverse, and passionately engaged community, financial aid ensures the School can attract and enroll students who will not only thrive on the Hill, but also enrich it.

Bringing Episcopal within Reach

Only a small fraction of the population can afford a boarding school tuition, and each year an increasing number of applicants compete for the limited financial aid funds available at EHS. Still others, including alumni families, never consider applying, thinking that the Episcopal experience is simply out of reach. While approximately one-third of the student body receives financial aid, it is requested consistently by over half of the applicant pool.

Endowment is the Key

Endowed funds ensure long-term strength, reducing dependency on tuition and annual giving. Increasing our endowment is key to affordability, both for increasing access to financial aid and for keeping tuition as low as possible.
