Harley Bascom Ferguson III '61

One of the finest wrestlers to ever compete on the Holy Hill, Harley Ferguson was undefeated his senior year. During both the 1960 and 1961 seasons, he was named MVP of the Washington Metro Wrestling Tournament and presented the Charles Morton Stewart III Award for wrestling.

A respected leader in other sports as well, Mr. Ferguson was a captain of the varsity football team and the alternate captain of the baseball team his senior year. In football, he was named to the All-Metro second team. Recognized not only for his athletic talent but also his character, Mr. Ferguson was given the C.C. Baldwin Award for sportsmanship.
