Maroon falls in first round of IAC

The Maroon lost a tough game to Landon in the first round of the IAC tournament by a final score off 12-10.
The boys played their best half of the season as they dominated the second quarter, outscoring Landon 7-1 to take an 8-4 lead at the half. Finlay MacKnight '20 assisted Jackson Eicher '20 three times within an impressive three minute span to close out the first half. Jack Lee '20 added two first half goals and Thomas Williamson '19 also added two on the day including a clutch goal with five minutes left to tie the score at 10. John McKee '20 and Chad Calderwood '20 were excellent at the face-off X.

The defense of Coleman Marlatt '19, Christian Storch '20, Ben Lee '20, Tyler Bryan '19, and Bear Matheson '20 played well in front of Luke Mascatello '19 — who had six saves on the day.

The Maroon is currently ranked #3 in the VISAA and should receive a 1st round bye meaning the next game would take place at EHS on Tuesday, May 14th in the VISAA Quarterfinals.
