Maroon Athletes Shine at St. Christopher's Invitational

A small contingent of student-athletes traveled as well to the St. Christopher’s Invitational in Richmond on Friday & Saturday, using their mid-winter break to match up against some of the top competition in the state.
Dante Jackson ‘21 catapulted himself into top spot in the State Rankings over 300-meters. Jackson’s 35.99 was just off of the school record set by Wildersee Harris in 2005 (35.95). Aaron Lindsey ‘21 had a huge breakthrough race (37.71) as well in the 300-meters and will get even faster we get into the championship portion of the season.

The girls 4x200-meter team of Nina Moore ‘20, Jahsaiah Moses ‘19, Janil Cohen ‘21, and Caroline Panton ‘21 ran a strong enough time (1:49.26) to qualify for the Eastern States Championships!

Alli Boehm ‘20knocked off another second from her best time over 1000-meters, improving her own school record in the event (3:00.81), and then came back to run a personal best time on the 4x400-meter relay team (60.4).

Claire Boehm ‘20 ran her best time in the one-mile run (5:26.56). Sophomore sensation Regan Simmons ‘21 matched her best time in the 300-meters (44.98) that she ran as a freshman at the state meet, showing that she is ahead of schedule for a big final few weeks of the season.
