Boys' Varsity Lacrosse Downs Potomac
The Maroon beat Potomac by a final score of 15-5.
The no. 6 VISA-ranked Maroon improved their season record to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in VISAA play.
The win was a team effort as many players contributed. Finlay MacKnight '20 paced the offense with six points and John McKee '20 and Chad Calderwood '20 controlled possessions at the face-off X. Whit Shelburne '18 played well at the midfield adding two goals and an assist in addition to three ground balls. Jett Lyerly '19 and Tyler Bryan '19 scored their first goals of the season and Jack Niven '18 picked up a team high six ground balls on the day.
