Bulldogs Beat Junior Basketball Team
The boys junior basketball team faced the Bullis Bulldogs.
The boys kept it close in the first quarter with a lot of guys pitching in on the offensive side of the court. Jack Hines '21, Stern Cohen '21, Jason Gibson '21, and Jackson Bauer '21 each added a bucket. The team continued its second quarter woes. The offensive production slowed, and Bullis leapt ahead. Hines scored a free throw, and Kartik Singh '20 added a bucket. The Bulldogs were up by a score of 19-11 at halftime.
Maroon continued to struggle in the third quarter with low production, but Bauer was a bright spot, hitting two awesome three point shots. The fourth quarter was more of the same. Singh added a bucket, and Cohen showed off his moves with an excellent drive to the hoop for two. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs stayed strong throughout the game, and finished on top, 54-28.
