Field Hockey Falls in Away Game
The Maroon traveled to Collegiate School to take on the Cougars on a sunny Friday afternoon.
EHS overcame the long travel time to keep the hosts off the board for the majority of the first half. The Cougars scored two goals within a minute that made EHS urgent to get their offense going. Collegiate added one more before halftime and the Maroon looked to make adjustments during the intermission.
Episcopal came out of halftime with renewed energy and a willingness to fight. The Cougars got past the Maroon defense one more time about five minutes into the second half. EHS tightened up their defense and held off the Collegiate attack for the rest of the contest.
The hosts won the game 4-0.
