Girls Varsity Soccer Scores Third Victory of Season

The Episcopal High School Girls' Varsity soccer team logged an ISL non-divisional road win against long time rival Holton Arms.
In a match that took a great amount of grit and sustained effort, EHS spent most of their minutes seeking rhythm in their offense with the help of a solid back-line effort that was anchored an exceptional performance by goalkeeper Lindy Moss '19. After several close calls and chances in the first half, Midfielder Lindsey Harrison '19 received a highly accurate pass from Neely Holt '20 that allowed her to break through the back line and shoot on goal. The first attempt was blocked and Harrison calmly controlled the rebound to tuck the ball in to the net for what turned out to be the winning goal of the match. EHS was able to take advantage of a tired home side and exert even more pressure through the end of the match with unfortunately no further resulting goals. At the final whistle, EHS was able to move on with the win in to the next match up at home on the following day.
