Traditionally, Georgetown Visitation is one of the top teams in the ISL. The Maroon knew that this would be a tough game, but also knew that they were prepared. The game opened up with an EHS only ten seconds into play. Visitation would answer back with a goal of their own, but EHS had a strong first quarter as they were up 4-2 with 12:25 left in the half. Visitation would go on a run of their own scoring two goals in less than two minutes to take their first lead of the game 6-5. The two teams would battle out every minute of the first half as each team scored in the final two minutes of play. EHS would enter the halftime break down 6-8. In the early part of the second half, fatigue became a factor as the fast, physical, aggressive speed of play began to wear on the Maroon. Visitation also began to break through their zone defense with quick ball movement exposing 1v1s and inside cutters. Visitation would score two goals in the opening five minutes of play to extend their lead to four. Episcopal would rally for two goals in the middle of the half, but was never able to put a run together or to hold the Visitation offense for a long stretch.
