Varsity Baseball Team Puts GDS to Bed
Varsity pitchers Duncan Agnew '17 and Thomas Windels '19 combined to get the win, with Agnew throwing four innings and Windels finishing the last four. Offensively, the team was led by Henry Hohlstein '17 who went 1-3 with a key bases loaded double over the left fielder's head in the sixth inning--the same inning in which EHS scored five runs to put the game away. Also in the sixth inning, the Maroon batted around with key at bats by David Rondeau '20 and Agnew. Overall, the team defense was solid and played well behind Agnew and Windels with center-fielder Henry Sergenian '19 flashing the leather with an over the shoulder running catch to end a key GDS rally in the fifth inning.
