Maroon Strikes Out Against TC Williams
Tiffany Stowers '20 pitched the entire game, striking out seven batters and only walking one. She was responsible for scoring Barrett Carney '19 on an RBI in the first inning, which would be the one and only run of the game. Despite loading the bases in later innings, and a collection of hits by Carney, Allison Duenas '20, Judy Liu '18, and Natasha Wanjiru '20, the girls were unable to put more runs on the board. With the T.C. Williams offense putting together 10 hits in the game, and Episcopal's defense giving up multiple runs on errors, the Maroon just couldn't fight their way back to take the win.
Overall, the team finished in 6th place, with a 2-5 record in the ISL-AA Division.
