Georgetown Prep Defeats Maroon LAX
The Maroon played a strong first quarter as the score was even up at two entering the second quarter.
Three quick goals by Prep in less than 75 seconds into the second quarter opened up a 5-2 lead and set the tone for the rest of the game. Will Cory '19 paced the offense with three points and Miles Thompson '18 was outstanding in the cage with 15 saves.
Georgetown Prep had a balanced offense as 11 different players scored a goal. Prep also dominated possession as they controlled 74% of the ground balls (35 to 12) over the course of the game. The Maroon currently are ranked #4 in the VISAA.
