Boys Varsity Basketball Falls to Bullis

The boys' varsity basketball team faced a tough week of competition. The team played three away games this week, all of whom are ranked in the Washington Post Top 20.
The team traveled to Maryland to face Bullis--last year's IAC Champions. It was an even and exciting first quarter of basketball with both teams hitting on all cylinders. The second period was also evenly played until the final two minutes of the half. Bullis ended the quarter on an 11-0 run, including a last second three-point make just as the buzzer sounded. The Maroon trailed 40-30 at the break. The third period felt like it was all Bullis, and at one point early in the fourth quarter Episcopal trailed by twenty-one points. The Maroon began to make some plays on offense, get some stops on defense, and show some energy in the final four minutes of the game. The Maroon stormed back to cut the lead to single digits, but we simply ran out of time. Bullis was able to secure the win by a final score of 75-67.
