GVS Comeback Falls Short Against Visi
This ISL AA division match opened with 40 minutes of 0-0 competition as both teams battled for control of the tempo.

Several attempts were made on net as the game heated up with intense challenges in the middle third. Goalkeeper Lindy Moss '19 was able to come up with solid saves, keeping EHS in the match. Fifteen minutes in to the second half, the visiting side tallied the first goal of the match and added another goal shortly after, making the score 2-0. With renewed intensity, EHS stepped up their efforts and defender Lilly Wilcox '18 stripped the ball from a Visitation midfielder to find striker Caroline Garrard '20 on a run to the net.
Garrard finished the ball with confidence for the beginnings of a comeback effort. Visitation was able to score a third goal quickly, catching the home side off guard. In the 70th minute, forward Isabell Holt '18 found the feet of Noe Boggan '21 on the far left flank. Boggan finished the ball with power that was too much for the goalkeeper to handle, finding the back of the net. The home side's efforts came up unfortunately short at the whistle and the final score remained 3-2.
