Varsity Field Hockey Wins 10th Game of Season
Episcopal hosted Holy Child on Thursday afternoon for an ISL matchup.
The first half began with back-and-forth play, with a few scoring chances for both teams. Eleanor Winants '18 put the Maroon ahead about ten minutes into the game. Just over five minutes later, Missy Brandt '20 put away a shot from Erin Phillips '18 to add to the Episcopal lead.
The second half was evenly-matched for the first 15 minutes. Brandt scored her second goal of the game off an assist from Winants to give the Maroon a convincing lead. The Tigers fought back but Episcopal was able to eliminate any scoring opportunities and secured the victory. Halsey Ziglar '19 finished the day with three saves and Noelle Weaver '19 added two saves for the Maroon defense.
