Potomac Bests Maroon in Girls Soccer
Third straight away game results in a 0-4 loss to ISL AA division foe Potomac.

The GVS squad faced a powerful ISL AA team on the road last Thursday when they travelled to Potomac School for their third consecutive away game. The home side tallied their first goal in the 26th minute on an EHS defensive miscue that gave a Potomac striker time to set up a strong shot from distance.
In the second half, EHS struggled to develop a rhythm. There were flashes of countering play that produced some great opportunities for the team, but they were unfortunately unable to convert their efforts in to goals. Potomac put together a flurry of second half goals that set the final score at 4-0. Great efforts were seen by Arden Faires '19 and Ruby Gregg '21 as they showed great determination in shutting down flank play.
