Varsity Tennis Team Crushes STAB
The team got right back at it on Saturday, looking to get some revenge for a 4-5 result to St. Anne’s Bellfield form last year. The singles played wasted little time in jumping out to leads, led by junior captains Gracie Hughes and Lilly Schmachtenberger, who both won their first five games. The doubles matches were a bit tighter, with our new teams getting to know each other better. As the match progressed, the Maroon swept the singles, and our doubles teams pulled out their close contests. Our girls left little doubt after the match that this was a different outcome than last year. Great team effort.
