Girls Varsity Tennis Defeats Georgetown Day
The girls’ varsity tennis team got off to a strong start this week with a pair of 7-0 victories at home. Everyone was ready for a match after an active preseason, and the back to back matches were a welcome. Georgetown Day was our first opponent, and the Maroon jumped off to quick leads in all of the matches.The girls would not look back as the singles players completed their sweep handily, as did the doubles teams. There were a few competitive matches, but for the most part, the Maroon dominated this contest.
