Maroon Lacrosse Falls to Landon
The boys lacrosse team struggled against a good Landon team on Friday as the Maroon ended up on the wrong side of a 13-5 score.
The team had opportunities to keep the game close early, but converted on only 1 of 12 shots in the first half. Poor shooting (5/24) and losing the ground ball battle (15/39) proved to be the difference in the game.
There were several positives as John Mckee '20 and Chad Calderwood '20 won 11 of 21 face-offs. Juanell Walker '19 scored his first goal of the season on a nice individual effort and Ben Lee '20 and Jack Lee '20 made several nice plays on defense and in the clearing game with Jack also adding a nice goal.
The team falls to 9-6 on the season.
