Girls Crew Claims Victory in Duel
The girls varsity crew traveled to Centreville, Md., to race the Gunston School in a duel on Tuesday.
The Maroon varsity eight bested the host school in a series of shorter races. Instead of rowing one 1500 meter race, the teams lined up for a total of five races. Ranging from 1000 meters to 250 meters, EHS put together a solid rhythm to outpace Gunston in the gusty, choppy conditions.
