Biography:
A 1976 graduate of EHS, Boota returned to Episcopal as the chief financial officer after working in the for-profit sector for more than 20 years. His work experience took the deButts family across the country and around the world; his children were born in San Francisco, Charlottesville, and Paris. Boota also served on Episcopal’s Board of Trustees for five years and was inducted into the EHS Athletics Hall of Fame.

Boota is a member of the Administrative Duty team and serves as a student advisor. He also co-teaches entrepreneurial studies. He and his wife, Shelley, live on campus and have three children, Lindsey ’08, Hunter ’10, and Austin ’12.
