Dr. Luis Alberto Gamboa

Luis Alberto Gamboa grew up in Mexico and California. He studied in Spain, the Philippines, and China during his undergraduate studies. Additionally, he has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, North Africa, and Latin America. In the fall of 2023, he will defend his doctoral dissertation titled Muertos Made in México: Necrocapitalismo.

Before joining EHS, Luis taught IB Spanish Literature and Theory of Knowledge at the United World College in Montezuma, New Mexico for nine years. He later taught Spanish Language at St. John's School in Houston, Texas. At Episcopal High School, he teaches Spanish III and AP Spanish Literature.

Luis loves watching international films and exploring new countries. His upcoming adventure is to Petra, Jordan to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. By the way, he dislikes potatoes in any form.
