Girls JV Lacrosse Falls to Holy Cross
This past Tuesday, EHS traveled to Holy Cross to face a good opponent. Holy Cross jumped out to a quick lead, not because they were much stronger than the maroon but because our shots went wide or were passed to the Holy Cross goalie. Initially, EHS also struggled in transition and on the draw.
During the second half, however, the High School came out with more pizazz and were able to hold their own: Janil Cohen '21 had a nice goal, as did Addie George '21. George's goal came off a great feed from classmate McClain Brooks '21, who was looking from behind cage to hit Addie cutting in the eight-meter arc. The team ended the game well, even though the final score was 4-11 in favor of Holy Cross.
