Strong Holton Arms Team Victorious in Tennis
The girls’ varsity tennis team had two lopsided results this week, one in our favor and one for the other team.
On Tuesday we ventured to Holton Arms school to play their once-beaten team. We were hoping to notch our 4th ISL AA win, but Holton had other ideas. Their top three singles players dropped very few games in securing quick wins, while the other matches were a bit more competitive. Sam Fanning ’19 and Eve Mazlish ’21 were victorious at #2 doubles, but that would be our only win in a 1-6 final score. Not our greatest day on the courts, but a strong Holton team didn’t help.
