The Maroon fought hard this week, both on the road and at home. EHS traveled up to Georgetown Visitation, looking for a good game against Coach Caslow's alma mater.
Perhaps hoping to impress Coach Caslow on the field that she was played on, the girls came out with an initial fire that surprised Visi; in fact, The Maroon dominated the first ten minutes of the game, spending most of those minutes on their offensive end.
Unfortunately, due to a few injuries and general fatigue toward the end of this fall season, the High School couldn't keep up that awesome level of play for the entire game. Ultimately, Georgetown Visitation did win the game (0-5), but some EHS highlights included Janil Cohen's ('21) strong back up plays, as well as her hustle between offensive and defensive ends; Gardiner McGuire had another stellar day in cage and refused to give up, even when Georgetown Visitation had several fast break opportunities. Midfielder Caroline Jones ('20) had nice drives on both ends of the field, and Isabelle Bechtel ('20) passed the ball flat and through during some key transition opportunities.
