Varsity Tennis Nearly Misses Victory Against Flint Hill
This past Thursday the Maroon varsity girls tennis traveled to Flint Hill to take on the 4th ranked Huskies.
With the Huskies ranked one spot above Episcopal, the varsity tennis team knew this should be a close one, and it was. Flint Hill got off to leads in three of the four singles, and the doubles matches were all close. The Maroon doubles teams responded with some grit and good teamwork, and all three teams came away with wins--none of which were easy. The girls could not come up with that final match win in the singles, as Flint Hill took all four for the 4-3 win. A solid effort by all, EHS left hoping for another shot at them in the tournament.
