Maroon Triples Opponent's Score for Big Win
The game against Trinity Episcopal was an important one for EHS as Trinity finished with a higher state ranking last year than the Maroon. After a strong week in Virginia Beach, the team was eager to continue their run in early state competition. The Maroon came out strong and took an early lead to cruise to an 11-1 halftime lead. The second half provided a great opportunity for some of the younger and newer players on the roster to get valuable game minutes and for the entire squad to work on various aspects of the game in preparation for Saturday’s matchup.
