Liza-Banks Campagna ’17 will play lacrosse for the University of California at Berkeley. This spring season will be her fourth season in a row on the girls’ varsity lacrosse team. She won the 2016 ISL A division All-League Honors and the 2016 Al-Met Honorable Mention for the sport. Campagna also won the EHS Coaches’ Award for the 2016 lacrosse season when she was a junior co-captain.

“Liza-Banks is a naturally fierce competitor, and her level of play impacts all of those around her,” Head Coach Ashley McDowell says. “Her passion for the game, her love of her teammates and EHS, and her dedication to this program has had a dramatic impact on how we play. In spite of all her talent and success thus far, she is by nature a student of the game. We have only seen the beginning of what she’s capable of.”

Hampton Brannon ’17 signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has played three consecutive seasons of boys’ varsity lacrosse, and this spring will be his fourth. In addition to lacrosse, Brannon has been a member of the junior varsity football and squash teams, having been named the team’s most improved player in the 2014 season; and also the varsity track and field and varsity football teams.
“Hampton has been performing at a high level since his freshman year,” says Head Coach Scott Conklin. “He has proven himself to be a strong leader and a great teammate. I’m excited to follow his career at the University of Massachusetts and look forward to coaching him again this spring.”

Stuart Greenspon ’17 has committed to playing lacrosse for Hobart College in upstate New York. This season will be his third on the boys’ varsity lacrosse team, and he has been a member of many athletic teams, including junior soccer, and junior varsity and varsity basketball. He was also named to the D.C. Area Under Armour All-American team last summer in lacrosse.

Conklin says, “Stuart is a very hard-working athlete who has improved tremendously as a lacrosse player during his time at Episcopal. He has been one of our most consistent players on the field, and I look forward to seeing him make an impact for us out there this spring.”
