Announcing the Student Leaders for 2023-24

The High School has elected its next student leaders for 2023-24. Leadership positions required submission of statements of purpose by each candidate displayed for peer perusal for several days before the all-school election. Poised as an opportunity to express their leadership qualities, several students took full advantage of sharing their respective visions for leading EHS.

Earlier this month, Head of School Charley Stillwell shared the results during a Vespers service. Met with congratulatory applause, the freshly elected leaders represent different areas of campus. They participate in several clubs and activities, hail from the Class of 2024, and share a love for the Maroon and Black on the playing field.

A 3-sport athlete, John Rogers '24 is excited to tackle his most important position yet, and it’s not on the football field. Even with 13 college football scholarship offers, Rogers acknowledges his most demanding and most exciting position will be serving as head monitor for the 2023-24 school year. “To be selected as the face of Episcopal, a community built upon a foundation of student leaders, is truly an honor,” Rogers said. He also thanked current head monitor Sydney Hopkins ’23, for her hard work this school year. “It will be hard to fill Sydney's shoes, as she has done such a wonderful job this past year improving the lives of students and faculty on campus. The senior monitors and I look forward to taking her advice, and accepting all new members of our Episcopal family with open arms.”

Seniors Nate Bastos ’24 and Jayden Muthaiah ’24 were selected to head the Discipline and Honor Committees, respectively.

Congratulations to the 2023-24 student leaders
