Before, During, After: Art Shaping Resilience opened in the Angie Newman Johnson Art Gallery in the Ainslie Arts Center on Monday, February 14.
Curated by Mary Welch Higgins, who is also an exhibiting artist, the show features pieces by nine professional local artists (including our very own ceramics teacher, Liz Vorlicek), and is an expression of their shared experiences of the past two years, communicated through art. We are lucky to have these pieces on campus for students, faculty, and guests to enjoy from February 14 to March 22.
The gallery will be open to the public on select Wednesdays during the run. If interested, please email Michael Windsor in the Arts Department to find out more information. Want to know more about the show and the featured artists? Visit Distinct Studios.
