In its matchup with St. Albans, the boys's varsity baseball team jumped on the board with a run in the first inning as Jarin Moses ’22 stroked a two-out single to center field, driving home Nathan De Witte ’23, who led off with a single and then stole second base. St. Albans responded with two runs in the second inning, taking a 2-1 lead.
The Bulldogs added two more runs in the fifth inning and one in the sixth inning, before the Maroon plated a single run in the top of the seventh inning. Moses led the inning with a double off the left-field wall, advanced to third base on a ground ball by Josh Lipschutz ’23, and scored on an infield groundout by John Rogers ’24. Quinn Armstrong ’24 and Luke Davila ’24 both pitched effectively for the Maroon.
