Girls Varsity Squash Defeats NCS For Second Time in Season
The girls' varsity squash team now enters the point in the season where they begin to see opponents for a second time. There are opportunities to address questions like: What has been learned? How can you approach known teams with better tactics? Are we more fit and more disciplined?
While NCS had their true #1 back in their lineup (making their top two ladder spots very strong), EHS would have a ladder with no drop-off in ability to carry the load. As anticipated, the Maroon swept all NCS Eagles from #3 down. It was an efficient and clean victory, and saw the return of Maggie Greenhill '22 as the Match of the Day, winning as though she'd not missed a step. So in answer to the posed questions: the girls were more consistent, smarter, stronger, fitter, and better than a month ago (for sure!).
