Boys Crew Competes in Schuykill Regatta
The boys crew team hit the road early on Sunday morning to head to the Head of the Schuykill Regatta in Philadelphia.
This is one of the largest regattas in the country, with nearly 2000 boats from the country's best programs in more than 100 events. EHS fielded an Upper Junior 8, consisting of coxswain Bennan Eberle '22, stroke Hays Talley '21, and rowers Red Staunton '22, Garrott Braswell '19, Archer Staunton '19, Hunter McGuire '19, Chris Kim '21, Thomas Adkins '20, and bow Stefan Olsen '21.
The boys finished the 2.5 mile race in 14:59.8, scoring 58th of 69 boats in their category. This is a very respectable finish for a boat with four novice rowers and a novice coxswain.
