After two consecutive losses, the Maroon made a comeback over local opponent T.C. Williams.
acob Morgan '19 started on the mound for the Maroon and pitched well, allowing three earned runs on five hits while striking out four. Emmett Morehead '21 came in relief in the 5th inning and struck out a T.C. Williams batter to end a potential rally before John Moses '19 came on in the 6th and earned a save, striking out four hitters in two innings while allowing only one hit. EHS jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning as Stuart Thornton '18 hit a single and John Moses '19 followed that with a double to left field. Bryan Peterson '18 drove in a run with an infield groundout and then Will Sergenian '18 drove in the second run with a single. Thornton added two more hits, one RBI and two stolen bases to lead the offense and other EHS standouts included Henry Sergenian '19 who had 2 hits, 2 runs and 3 stolen bases, David Rondeau '20 who had 1 hit, 2 walks and 1 RBI and Emmett Morehead who had a key RBI in the 3rd inning. Hunt Wasden '18 made several key defensive plays and Jack Moore '20 and Kidron Kollin '19 both added stolen bases in the win.
