Boys Varsity Tennis Falls to Undefeated Flint Hill
Currently ranked no. 5 in the state, Flint Hill has a deep team with a new addition playing #1 singles.
This new singles player led the way with a solid win over Corbin Ellington '18, while both Thomas Grier '20 and Garrott Braswell '19 put up good fights in singles. Grier dropped two competitive sets, and Braswell pulled out his match with a second-set tiebreak win. The doubles matches were all close and we could have added a few more victories to the total, but the Huskies won several tight sets and a tie break at #1 against Hunter Brode '18 and Charlie Teeters '20 to sweep the three matches. Matson Schorr '19 played and won an exhibition singles match to complete a solid day of tennis.
