Girls JV LAX Ties with NCS
The girls JV lacrosee team started their week strong against competitor National Cathedral School.
The game was a nail-biter, as back-and-forth goals were traded for the run of play. Missy Brandt '20 had five goals and three draw controls; Addie George '21 added two goals and two ground balls; Janil Cohen '21 had a goal, two ground balls, and one GB; and, Jackie Lukes '21 added a goal. In the cage, Liv Hunt '21 had a solid game as well, with six saves. NCS played a very physical game, and unfortunately midfielder Hannah Doss '19 ended up with a concussion but bravely handled the situation as her teammates rallied in support of her. The game ended up in a tie, 9-9, and the coaches were proud of how the girls played.
