Boys Varsity LAX Defeats Cardinals
Fresh from Spring Break training in Arizona and tired from a late flight the night before, the Maroon still had the strenght to prove their skills.
After a slow start to the game, Matt Berendsen '18 opened the scoring halfway through the second quarter and EHS added five more quick goals before halftime to push the lead to 6-1. The defense--Jack Niven '18, Christian Storch '20, Tyler Bryan '19, Jack Kelly '19, and Ben Lee '20--goalies--Miles Thompson '18, Luke Mascatello '19, and Lebby Clement '18--and face-off specialists--John Mckee '20 and Chad Calderwood '20--all played very well.
The offense was paced by Berendsen, Will Cory '19, and Finlay MacKnight '20.
