The team traveled to Oakton to take on their next state ranked opponent in No. 9 Flint Hill. Episcopal suffered a one goal loss to FH last year in the final minutes of the game, so the Maroon were eager to win and to do so convincingly. Flint Hill had a few very strong players, and EHS struggled early on the draw. The first half was a fast paced battle in the midfield with neither team finding much rhythm on either settled end of the field. The EHS defense continued to cause havoc for the opposing attack as they held Flint Hill to one goal in the half. Episcopal entered the break up 5-1. Episcopal was able to maintain their strong level of play in the second half and cruise to an 11-4 win.
