Maroon Defeats Huskies
The boys varsity lacrosse team improved to 9-4 (7-3 in VISAA) on the season with a 9-4 win over #11 VISAA ranked Flint Hill.
The game started off well for the Maroon as they jumped to a 5-0 advantage less that half-way through the first quarter. The Huskies zone defense responded and held the EHS offense to just one goal over the next 33 minutes of play. Fortunately, the Maroon defense played well throughout the game and the offense did just enough to seal the victory.
Matt Berendsen '18 (5 points) and John McKee '20 (9/11 on face-offs) earned game MVP honors.
